Peach-faced Lovebird






The Peach-faced Lovebirds are one of three lovebird species that are very popular, affectionate, and readily available.The Peach-faced Lovebirds are very social and love companionship. They possess many of the wonderful personality traits of the larger parrots and has the ability to mimic and will imitate noises and whistles.

Though they make a very fine and affectionate pet when hand-raised, they will need a lot of attention if kept singly. Most are kept in pairs to satisfy their considerable need for constant companionship, mutual preening, and socialization.
They are commonly found in southwest regions of Africa in large flocks.
Their normal life span is about 15 years.
