The Mountain ( Golden-fronted) Parakeet
natural habitat is at high altitude
shrub lands, subtropical regions and the coastal regions in the Andes of Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia. They are among one of the endangered species.
The Mountain Parakeets are about 18 cm in
length. The male has yellow front and
Brest sides, yellowish green thighs and the foreparts of checks are green. While the female are plainer green.
