PACIFIC PARROTLET


The Pacific Parrotlets (pocket Parrots) are about 13 cm in length. Their upperpart are greenish-gray, bright yellowish-green face with blue band behind eyes and underwing-coverts violet blue in males while blue replace by green in females in wild, but different color mutations are available in captive. Pacific Parrotlets Love to live and travel in flocks in wild. They are native to north western Ecuador and north western Peru. Their localities are Cerro Blanco Reserve, Loma Alta Ecological Reserves and Tumbes National Forest.
